How we handle personal data
This website is run by Battery Solutions, s.r.o., Company ID (IČO) 22601040, registered office Krocínova 333/3, Staré Město, 110 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic. As the controller of personal data, we explain here what data we process and why. For any question, write to info@batterysolutions.cz.
No cookies, no tracking
The site uses no cookies and no analytics or advertising tools, and it loads everything it shows from its own domain. The contact form sends nothing: it only opens your own email app with the message filled in, which you then send yourself if you wish. If the message is long, or no email app opens, the site offers its text for you to copy. Even then it sends nothing.
No record of visits
The web server keeps no record of visits to the site. Your IP address reaches it each time a page loads, because it could not deliver the page otherwise, but we do not store it. The legal basis for this necessary processing is our legitimate interest in running the site (Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the GDPR).
When you email or call us
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the details you give us (typically your name, email address, phone number, organisation, a description of the project and your message) so that we can reply and, where relevant, prepare a proposal. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry and discussing a possible engagement (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); where you are discussing a contract with us on your own behalf, it is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting engagement, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Who else may have access
Our suppliers may process the data to the extent their service requires: our email provider (Microsoft 365) and the operator of the server in the Czech Republic the site runs on. Where Microsoft transfers data outside the EU and the EEA, it does so on the basis of safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR set out in its contractual terms.
Your rights
Under the conditions the GDPR sets, you have the right of access to your personal data, to rectification or erasure, to restriction of processing and to data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just write to info@batterysolutions.cz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz).
