01 · Services

An energy project rests on dozens of decisions. Site, grid connection, technology, contracts, operation. We take you through them with one point of accountability and numbers you can check.

You can take the whole journey with us, or only part of it: a study, permits, choosing a contractor, oversight of the build. Every phase ends with a result you can base the next decision on.

  1. 01

    Idea and feasibility

We check the site, your consumption and the connection options, and work out whether the project pays. You get the basis for a decision, not a hundred pages of text.

    • Site or rooftop screening
    • Consumption and load profile analysis
    • Size, budget and timeline
    • Financial model with sensitivities
  2. 02

    Development and permits

We handle the grid connection application with the distribution operator, the building permit and the authorities' opinions, and take the project to ready-to-build.

    • Connection application and talks with the operator
    • Building permit, and EIA where needed
    • Land agreements and easements
    • Design documentation with partners
  3. 03

    Finance and support

We build a financial model that stands up in front of a bank and prepare a grant application where one makes sense. We set out whom to sell the power to, and how.

    • Financial model and revenue scenarios
    • Grant strategy and application
    • Material for lenders and investors
    • Power and flexibility sales
  4. 04

    Contractors and contracts

We write the technical specification, run the tender and help negotiate contracts that protect the owner: guaranteed performance, warranties and penalties.

    • Technical specification and requirements
    • Tender and bid evaluation
    • Construction, supply and service contracts
    • A second opinion on an offer you already have
  5. 05

    Construction and commissioning

We oversee construction as your owner's engineer, or run the whole project for you. We watch quality, schedule and budget, and accept the plant on measured performance.

    • Owner's engineering
    • Schedule, budget and change control
    • Tests, inspections and acceptance
    • Cyber security of the control systems
  6. 06

    Operation and optimisation

Once it runs, we track performance, manage the service contracts and look for more revenue, from a battery on the power and balancing markets, for example.

    • Asset management and reporting
    • Performance and warranty checks
    • Optimisation and trading strategy
    • Expansion and battery retrofits

03 · Who we work for

For those who generate energy, use it or invest in it.

Each needs something different from a project. So we start by asking what the plant has to do for you, and only then turn to the technology.

  • Industry and business

Lower and more predictable energy costs, less dependence on the grid, and backup for critical operations.

  • Municipalities and regions

Plants on municipal buildings and land, electricity sharing between them, and energy communities with residents.

  • District heating

Moving off coal, heat pumps and electrode boilers, heat storage, and cogeneration that earns from flexibility.

  • Farmers and landowners

Agrivoltaics, biogas plants, and leasing or developing a project yourself on land you already own.

  • Investors and funds

Technical due diligence, an independent view of a project before you buy, and construction oversight for the investor.

  • Developers

Extra capacity for permitting, grid connection and contractor selection when your own team is stretched.

04 · Working together

Four ways to work with us.

Scope and fees are agreed in advance and in writing. Construction and installation are carried out by licensed contractors who contract directly with you; we prepare, manage and oversee the project.

  • Advisory

    Studies and second opinions

Feasibility studies, site screening, a review of an offer, or of a project you already have under way.

    FeeFixed price per deliverable

  • Owner's engineer

    The engineer on your side

We watch the project for you: specification, contractor selection, design review, construction and acceptance.

FeeMonthly retainer or rate, by scope

  • Project management (EPCM)

    The whole project, for you

We manage design, procurement and construction as a single whole. Every contractor contracts with you, so you see every crown spent.

FeeFixed price or a share of capital cost

  • Development

    From land to permit

For landowners and investors: we take the project to ready-to-build, with its grid connection and permits.

05 · How we work

On your side of the table. Always.

A technology supplier earns on what it sells. We earn only on the work you commission from us. Everything else follows from that.

  • Independence

We sell no panels, batteries or electricity and take no commission from suppliers. We recommend what makes sense for you, including that a project does not pay.

  • One point of accountability

One person leads the project from the first study to handover, so nothing falls between the designer, the contractor and the grid operator.

  • Numbers that hold up

Our calculations come with the assumptions behind them. Anyone can check them: your bank, your auditor, a competing offer.

  • Security from day one

A power plant today is a computer connected to the grid. Remote access, separation of control systems and cyber security go into the specification, not in after an incident.

06 · Market 2026

What is changing in Czech energy right now.

Since 2024, three amendments to the Energy Act have brought new rules for generation, storage, sharing and grid connection. Here is a selection of what affects projects in Czechia most. As at 24/10/2026.

  • Grid connection2026

A queue for the grid, above all for batteries

In the first half of 2026 ČEZ Distribuce received 4,414 applications to connect storage, totalling 47.1 GW. So far it has two standalone batteries connected. The order of applications is only one of the criteria the distributor applies.

  • Capacity reservationsince 08/2025

Reserving a connection now carries a cost

A connection contract must set a non-refundable part of the contribution. At medium voltage and above, 30% of the contribution is forfeited if the reservation ends within 12 months, otherwise 50%, capped at CZK 50 million. Applying for a connection is now an investment decision.

  • StorageLex OZE III

Batteries have their own licence and rules

Storing electricity is a licensed activity in its own right. Grid-connected storage above 100 kW needs a licence from ERÚ, the energy regulator. A generation licence holder may store through its plant without a further licence if the storage's total installed power does not exceed 1.2 times the plant's installed power.

  • Network tariffsfrom 01/01/2027

Reserved input becomes chargeable at MV and HV

From January 2027, customers at medium and high voltage will pay for their reserved input. ERÚ says those who do not use it should reduce it before the end of 2026. Cutting peaks with a battery or demand control can therefore save more than before.

  • SharingEDC

Power can be shared between supply points

Sharing is recorded by the national electricity data centre, EDC. Outside a single building a sharing group can include up to 11 interval-metered delivery points; energy communities and renewable energy communities register with ERÚ.

  • Solar2025

Business rooftops grow while households slow

Czechia added 696 MWp of solar in 2025, of which 370 MWp on businesses, 60 MWp more than the year before. By the end of the year 5,160 MWp was installed.

07 · FAQ

What you ask us.

How large are the projects you take on?

From solar on a company or municipal rooftop to power plants, battery storage and heat sources worth up to CZK 1 billion. We do not prepare systems for family homes; a reputable installer will serve you better there.

Do you build the plants yourselves?

Not with our own installation crews. Construction, installation and the stamped design documentation come from licensed contractors who contract directly with you. We prepare, manage and check the project and make sure everything fits together.

What does your work cost?

Studies and reviews are done for a fixed price you know in advance. Owner's engineering and project management are priced by scope, as a monthly retainer or a share of the investment. You get the price of the first phase after the first call, which is free.

How long does a project take to prepare?

A rooftop plant on a company building with a simple connection can be prepared and built in months. A ground-mounted plant, a battery or a wind turbine at high voltage takes years, and the grid connection and permits usually take longest. The law gives the distribution operator up to five years from a complete application to connect at medium and high voltage, unless agreed otherwise.

Will a battery pay for us?

It depends on what the battery will live on: savings on peaks and reserved capacity, shifting your own output, or trading and grid services. We work it out from your quarter-hour data and market prices, and we tell you if it does not pay.

Will you help with a grant?

Yes. We find the right call, from the Modernisation Fund for example, prepare the material and the application, and watch the conditions through to final settlement. But we design the project to make sense without the grant; a grant should shorten the payback, not rescue the project.

We already have an offer from a supplier. Is it worth calling you?

That is exactly the time. We check the size, the technology, the yield calculation, the price and the contract terms, and tell you what to ask the supplier before you sign.

Do you work outside Czechia?

Our focus is Czechia. In other EU countries we prepare a project with a local partner who knows the rules there for connection, permits and support.
